The King's Refuge — Nonprofit Brand Identity

THE CHALLENGE Nonprofits have a specific brand problem: they need to look credible enough to earn donor trust, but grounded enough to honor the community they serve. Polish without pretension. The King's Refuge needed an identity that communicated mission clearly, held up across fundraising materials, and gave the organization a presence worthy of the work they do. MY ROLE Brand designer. I worked directly with leadership to develop the core identity, contributed to the brand guidelines, and designed the digital assets used across fundraising campaigns and donor communications. THE WORK Primary and secondary brand marks developed in close collaboration with ownership — built to carry the weight of the organization's mission without overcomplicating it. Brand guidelines establishing logo usage, color, and typography for consistent application.
